Brief summary
Philip Hierlihy was born before 1766 in Mallow, Ireland. He died between 1802 and 1804 in Alnwick Parish and was buried in Bartibog. He was the son of Cornelius Hierlihy. Apparently, he was a Catholic. He married Charlotte Howe Taylor Blake/Black Wishart who was born c1755 and died April 27, 1841. Known as the “Mother of Tabusintac”, she was Protestant and was buried in Tabusintac, N.B.

Discription of the issues related to this individual
(1) Phillip Jr Born c1788; died May 27, 1852. He married Jane Lewis on September 28, 1828. She was born in Wales c1809 to John and Grace Lewis. Philip and Jane raised ten children in Alnwick Parish. They were Presbyterian.
(2) Helene Born February 11, 1787; died 1869. She married David Savoy in 1804. He was the son of Amand and Isabelle Savoy.
(3) James William Born May 11, 1791; died 1868. He married Louisa Urquhart (born c1802 in U.S.A.), the daughter of William and Margaret Urquhart on January 2, 1818. Louisa died on February 22, 1884, aged 81, at Tabusintac. They raised at least six children in Alnwick Parish. This family was Presbyterian.
(4) Honaria Born March 4, 1794; died 1871. She married John Murray, son of John and Liza Murray, c1815.
(5) Charlotte Born 1795; died1865. She married c1811 Benjamin Stymiest, son of Benjamin and Abigail Stymiest. Benjamin and Charlotte had five children.
(6)Elizabeth Williams Born c1776; died 1839. Adopted. On September 22, 1791 she married Duncan Robertson, son of James and Christine Robertson. After Duncan died in 1825, a memorial was erected in Riverside Cemetery, Tabusintac.
