(1) Francis Born July 26, 1819 at South Esk. On December 18, 1845 at St. James Presbyterian Church in Newcastle, he married Ann “Nancy” Copp, the daughter of Henry Copp and Elizabeth Page. They moved to Oregon.
(2) John Alexander Born July 27, 1821 at South Esk; died October 9, 1866. On October 13, 1857, he married Mary Ann Ahearn, the daughter of John Ahearn and Ann Meighan. She was born in1831 and died in 1895. They had 5 children. Alexander was buried in St. Thomas R.C. Cemetery, Red Bank.
(3) Jane Born April c1823 in South Esk. On August 20, 1845 she was married by Rev. Samuel Bacon, Anglican Church minister, to John Chalker. They left the Miramichi.
(4) Christina Ann Born in March 1825; died October 1859. On August 24, 1847, she married John Tushie, the son of James Tushie and Mary A. Forsyth. John was born 1820; died 1875 and was buried in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Red Bank. They had five children.
(5) Sarah Born July 10, 1827 in South Esk. On June 7, 1849 she married Alexander Cummings from PEI. They had three children.
(6) Elizabeth Ann Born August 21, 1829 in South Esk; died 1876. On November 5 1856 she married William John Underhill, son of Noah Bishop Underhill and Catherine Meighan, from Blackville. They had at least seven children.
(7) James Born in 1835 at South Esk; died March 7, 1890; buried at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Newcastle, NB. On August 7, 1867 he married Mary Jane Underhill, born October 25, 1843 to Nathaniel Underhill and Mary Ann Kennedy, from Blackville. They had at least one daughter. Mary Jane’s death certificate identifies her parents and her death date of January 30, 1922.
(8) Susan Born in February 1837. On October 29, 1866 she married William Henry Tozer (c1830-1900), the son of Jared Tozer and Susan Rogers. They had three children.
(9) Mary Ann Born c1839 in South Esk.
