They had at least ten children. They were buried in St. Mary’s (Old) RC Cemetery, Newcastle.<br /> <br /> (2) Mary Ann Born January 24 c1869; died June 29, 1936 in Newcastle. On May 19, 1897 she married William Francis Black, son of William Black and Martha McGrath. William F. was a mill labourer in Newcastle. They had at least two children.They were buried in St. Mary’s (Old) R.C. Cemetery, Newcastle.<br /> <br /> (3) Elizabeth Born August 29, 1873 in Derby Parish; died June 7, 1966. On March 1, 1897 she married (1) Peter Cobb, son of John Cobb and Rose Carroll. Peter was born June 12, 1865 and died on July 10, 1906. He was buried in St. Mary’s (Old) R.C. Cemetery near John and Mary Doran. Elizabeth married (2) Daniel Connell on November 3, 1909. Born c1864 in Douglasfield to Bartholomew Connell and Catherine Dolan, Daniel was a farmer. He died in Chatham on April 13, 1958 and was buried in Malcolm Cemetery, St. Patrick’s R.C. Church, Nelson. Elizabeth was buried with him.<br /> <br /> (4) Katie A. Born March 31, 1874. She married (1) on June 14, 1897 to James William Donahue, son of William Donahue and Margaret Estey; (2) on November 1, 1915 to Edmond Arsenault of Bathurst. James (January 29, 1873-August 12, 1915) and Katie lived in Newcastle and had at least nine children. They raised four children and moved across Canada and northern U.S. before settling in Vancouver, B.C. Charles died on May 28, 1963, and Lucy died June 16, 1963 in Vancouver, B.C. <br /> <br /> (11) William Joseph Born August 6, 1885 in Derby; died 1978. On November 27, 1912 he married Mary Z. Wilson/Mathews, born c1894 in Belledune to Martina Mathews. Mary died in 1968 and was buried with William in St. Mary’s (Old) R.C. Cemetery, Newcastle. <br /> <br /> (12) Philip Sheridan Born December 26, 1888 in Derby; died December 7, 1919; buried St. Mary’s (Old) R.C. Cemetery, Newcastle. On February 2, 1917 he married Jean/Jane Taylor, born August 10, 1895 to William Taylor and Mary Anne Dolan of South Esk. Sheridan was a blacksmith who died of tuberculosis. After his death, Jean married Harold Alexander Bruce in Fredericton.<br /> <br /> (13) Stanislus/Stanley Born July 4, 1891 in Millerton; died September 5, 1930 (suicide). He married (1) Irene Dora Wedden, sister of Beatrice (above), on October 13, 1913. Dora died on June 25, 1918 and was buried in St. Thomas R.C. Church Cemetery, Red Bank. Stanley married (2) Theresa Gertrude Power, daughter of James Power and Gertrude/Bridget Gillis of Red Bank, on October 6, 1926.<br /> <br /> (14) Leo Getty Born August 6, 1893. He moved to Winnipeg where he married Anna Maria Green on October 5, 1920.<br /> <br />
