(1) William Born c1783, probably in New York or Connecticut; died c1844. He married Isabella Loban, daughter of Thomas Loban, on March 28, 1816.<br /> <br /> (2) James Born 1785 in Nashwaak, York County, N.B.; died 1820 in Nelson. He married Margaret Anderson, daughter of John Anderson.<br /> <br /> (3) Jane Born 1788 on the Miramichi, N.B.; died in 1854. On October 2, 1809 she married Abraham Vanderbeck, son of Abraham Vanderbeck and Hannah Underhill. They lived in Nelson and were buried at St. Andrew’s United Church, Blackville. They had eight children.<br /> <br /> (4) John Born in 1793 on the Miramichi, N.B.; died 1867. On October 15, 1818 he married Clarky Cowden born c1804 to William Cowden and Martha Gibson, Scottish immigrants. They lived in Nelson where they raised nine children. John was a farmer. They were Presbyterian. Neither John nor Clarky was in the 1871 census.<br /> <br /> (5) Alexander Born c1795 in the Miramichi; died between 1861 and 1871. On November 11, 1828 he married Elizabeth Leach (born c1812; died before 1871), the daughter of Thomas Leach and Mary MacDonald. They raised nine children in McKinleyville. They were Presbyterian.<br /> <br /> <br /> Note: British Vital Records (LDS) gives a baptism for James Clarke as April 25, 1754.
