Miles died September 1871 and was buried with some of his family in St. Peter & St. Paul R.C. Cemetery, Bartibog. The 1851 census has a niece of Miles, Jane O’Harron, living with the family. (1) James Born December 13, 1827; baptized at St. Patrick’s R.C.Nelson; died June 17, 1872 & buried in St. Peter & St. Paul R.C. Cemetery, Bartibog. In September 24, 1859 at St. Michael’s R.C., Chatham, he married (1) Mary Nugent (1834-1860). James and Mary had one child before her death. On August 3, 1861 at St. Patrick’s R.C., Nelson, he married (2) Margaret Connell (1835-1871), the daughter of Bridget O’Connell (widow).<br /> <br /> (2) Andrew Born August 1829; baptized at St. Patrick’s R.C., Nelson; died June 1, 1884 in Bartibog. On May 25, 1865 in Bathurst he married Johanna Burke (1843-1927). The marriage and baptisms of the first three children were registered with Holy Family R.C. Church, Bathurst. Four additional children were born in Newcastle and recorded in St. Michael’s R.C. Parish Records.<br /> <br /> (3) Mary Born October 1831; died May 3, 1906. On February 28, 1965 at St. Michael’s R.C., Chatham she married James Fox (1828-May 21, 1915). He was a farmer in Bartibog. They had three children.<br /> <br /> (4) John Born c1836; died after 1871.<br /> <br /> (5) Thomas Born c1837; died November 19, 1893 in Rutledge, Pine County Minnesota: buried St. Michael’s Cemetery, Bayport, MN. He was a lumberman who died in an accident. On October 6, 1872 in Washington Co., MN he married Susan Margaret Bergin (September 1, 1844 Blackville, N.B.-January 18, 1924). They had four children. Thomas and Susan were buried in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Bayport, Minnesota.<br /> <br /> (6) Miles Born September 1839; baptized at St. Michael’s R.C. Church, Chatham; died March 19, 1912 in Nakusp, British Columbia. In 1881 he was living in Manitoba. He was a carpenter and a shipbuilder who was not married. <br /> <br /> (7) Catherine Born July 1841; baptized at St. Patrick’s R.C. Church, Nelson; died 1899. On January 31, 1860 at St. Michael’s RC Church, Chatham she married James P. Doyle (1830-1904). They lived in Restigouche County, N.B.<br /> <br /> (8) Michael Born May 1843; baptized St. Patrick’s R.C., Nelson; died September 14, 1916 in Stillwater, MN; buried St. Michael’s R.C. Cemetery, Bayport, MN. On June 12, 1871 he married Mary E. Sutton (March 25, 1850, Calais, Maine-March 22, 1922 Stillwater, Minnesota). They had eight children.
