Brief summary
Daniel Carroll was born c1783 in Tipperary, Ireland and died before 1881 in N.B. He married Anna O’Neal (born c1793), probably before they arrived in Canada in 1814. Daniel and Anna farmed in Blackville. Anna, also called “Nancy”, died before 1871 and Daniel, before 1881. They were Roman Catholic. Only three children have been located for Daniel and Anna.<br /> <br />

(1) Edward Born in July 1825; baptized July 2, 1826 in St. Patrick RC Church, Nelson; died March 3, 1900 Red Cliff, Wisconsin; buried two days later in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Batport, Minnesota. Edward married Mary Anne McAdams, born c1828, September 17, 1848. She died on March 12, 1898 in Stillwater, Minnesota. Edward and Mary Anne had nine children, all born in N.B., some of whom moved to the U.S.<br /> <br /> (2) John Born in August 1827 in Northumberland County; baptized October 21, 1827 at St. Patrick, Nelson. He died of consumption in May 1870.<br /> <br /> (3) Margaret Born in September 1828; baptized on September 6, 1829 at St. Patrick, Nelson. She married Patrick Blake on June 29, 1847 and had three children. Patrick was born c1820 in Ireland and arrived in N.B. in 1840.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
