Church history

Paragraph that details some of the information about this church.
In November 1834 plans were made to erect a Presbyterian Church in Black River Bridge. That church, St. Stephen’s, was built (a second St Stephen’s was built in 1906) and remained the home of Presbyterianism until church union in 1925. when St. Stephen’s became a United Church. Those who wished to remain Presbyterian held their services until 1930 in the Little Branch school and in homes. John Gibson, at that time, offered land on which to build a new Presbyterian church. That church, St. Paul’s, was built, and dedicated on July 18, 1930. The church, together with Knox Presbyterian, Kouchibouguac, were associated in a Home Mission until 1950 , at which time they joined with Chatham Presbyterians.
