Church history
*
Paragraph that details some of the information about this church.
A Presbyterian church had been erected in Blackville in 1840 and served Quarryville as well as Blackville. In 1864 the people of Indiantown (Quarryville) decided to build a church of their own because of the distance to Blackville. In 1919 an acre of land was purchased for a cemetery. (First Burial-Thomas Pleadwell) In 1925 this church became a United Church.

The church was closed after 2012 and sold to a business man who plans to turn it into apartments, if additional land can be purchased.
