Paragraph that details some of the information about this church.
The Ferguson Presbyterian Church was built in 1843 by Hugh Ferguson on land he donated to the church. This church was part of a charge which included Millerton, Chelmsford, Blackville and Quarryville. In 1899 Ferguson, plus Millerton and Quarryville, was disjoined from this charge and formed into an “ordained mission charge.” The church built in 1843 was destroyed by fire on April 11, 1923. The cornerstone for the new Ferguson was dedicated on September 16, 1923.In 1925 ,when the United Church was formed,Ferguson and Millerton remained Presbyterian.
