This church was established in 1909 as a mission church of St.Bridget’s Roman Catholic Church, Renous. The church building was condemned in 2001 because of roof problems. At the invitation of the Grace Presbyterian Church, the congregation moved into the Presbyterian Church. When the RC Diocese of Saint John was revamped in 2018, Our Lady of Good Counsel was closed permanently.
