Land was purchased from Miller Tanning Ext. Co .Ltd. of London,England by James Robinson and John C.Miller in 1893 and a church was built ,and dedicated on March 18, 1894. This church remained Presbyterian when union was voted on in 1925. Grace Presbyterian became part of the Millerton-Derby- Chelmsford-Newcastle charge in 1949. In 1957 Chelmsford Presbyterians , who had no Presbyterian church since 1925 but were meeting in the Orange Hall, joined other Presbyterian congregations resulting in a Millerton- Derby-Newcastle Charge.About 1994 Grace and Ferguson separated from Newcastle. Grace Presbyterian holds services in this church only in the summer months. The remainder of the year the members worship with fellow Presbyterians in Ferguson Presbyterian, Bryenton. Since 2001 members of Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic, at the invitation of Grace Presbyterian, have been worshiping in this church. The RC Diocese of Saint John was revamped in 2018 and OUR LADY OF GOOD COUNSEL was closed permanently<br /> <br />
