Paragraph that details some of the information about this church.
St.Andrew’s, built in 1877 and named after St. Andrew, the apostle, was at the beginning a mission church of St. Peter and St. Paul’s Parish in Bartibogue. St. Andrew’s became a parish, independent of Bartibogue, in 1898. In 1903 it became a mission of St. Michael’s, Chatham (1903-!938 ).
In the 1930’s a new church was constructed and the old structure became a church hall. The new church was dedicated on January 30, 1938. In 1958 St. Andrew’s burned and was replaced by a new cement building. This building also burned , along with the rectory, on November 10, 1966. A new church hall had been constructed in 1959. An addition was built in the center of this hall and this building became the church. With additional work since 1959, it remains the RC Church of Loggieville.
