This church was originally begun in Arbeau Settlement about 1949 by Rev. C. B.Dudley, the pastor of Gray Rapids Pentecostal.At first services were held in a tent and then in the home of Hartley and Eve Arbeau In 1950 with the aid of a bank loan of $3000 and money raised by church members, a church was erected in Arbeau Settlement, now known as Brophy Road. Ten years later Sunday School rooms were added and later a portable trailer.Eventually the facilities became too small for the growing congregation and a new church was built (1983) on Highway 8. The first services in the new location were held on New Years eve of the same year. The new church was dedicated in the spring of 1984.<br /> <br />
