Church history

Paragraph that details some of the information about this church.
An Anglican presence was in the area as early as 1839 when travelling missionaries visited the area from 1839-91. A Miss Nemira Jacobs from Fredericton also served as a missionary to this area around the same time period.
In 1889 the people of the Carroll’s Crossing area decided to build a Meeting Room, half way between the Anglican communities of Ludlow and Doaktown. This Meeting Room was the Anglican Church for the area until St. John the Evangelist Church was built . The land on which this church stands was purchased from Medley O’Donnell and his wife Anne McNamee O’Donnell. The church was consecrated by the Rt. Rev. H. T. Kingston, Bishop of Fredericton on Sept. 1, 1895.
Today this church is a mission of St. Andrew’s Anglican in Doaktown.
