Prior to 1912, Baptist services were held bi- monthly in the Boiestown Methodist Church. In 1912 a Baptist church was erected and a Baptist presence continued until the 1930’s; by then most of the Baptist families had moved from the community.<br /> <br /> The church building remained until 1946 when it was bought by the Astle United Church. It was dismantled, moved to Astle, and reconstructed there (minus the steeple). <br /> <br /> The land on which the church was located has since been sold to St. Peter’s Anglican Church.
