Church history

Paragraph that details some of the information about this church.
McNamee Pentecostal Church was established in the 1930’s under the leadership of Rev. Clement Hyde, who was a missionary to the areas of Holtville, Doaktown, Bettsburg, Priceville, Quarryville, Gray Rapids, establishing churches in most of these.
In McNamee, after Rev. Hyde’s arrival, meetings were held in homes. Money was raised to build a church on land donated by Walter Lyons. The first church was a log one owned by Rev. C. B. Dudley; it could hold about 100 people. The second church was built on the Lyons’ property.
As the church population continued to grow, a decision was made to build a larger church. Thus, in 1954 the present church was built on a lot donated by Murray and Clara Wilson, and enlarged in the 1980’s.
