Construction on this church began about 1907, and was carried out by local carpenters. The land for the church was donated in 1913 by Peter and Clautise Robicheaux. The altar and the organ were installed in 1926, and in the next dozen years The Stations of the Cross and the pews installed. The bell was purchased and blessed in 1961.<br /> <br /> For the first 46 years of the existence of Holy Family Church, it was a mission of St. Augustine’s Church in Legaceville. Holy Family became part of the diocese of Saint John in 1959.<br /> <br /> In the reorganization of churches in the Saint John Diocese in 2019, Holy Family was closed.<br /> <br /> CEMETERY USED: Holy Family Roman Catholic Church Cemetery<br /> LOCATION OF CEMETERY: 1971 Rte. 11, Barryville<br /> DATES OF CEMETERY: 1925-Present
