As early as 1992 Pastor Richard McFadgen came from Fredericton to hold services and did so for the next 6 years. Space was rented in the Derby Rec. Center and later in the Highway Market, Blackville, with a permanent pastor, Ron King. There were plans to build a church across from the Derby Rec.Center, but these plans have not materialized. The church was finally established in 1997.<br /> <br /> Next , services were held in a renovated garage belonging to Daisy Curtis until the congregation moved into The Highway Market site on Rte 8, Blackville, under the leadership of Albertine LeBlanc.
