Church history
*
Paragraph that details some of the information about this church.
The United Baptist Church, gray Rapids, was dedicated July 5, 1914. It was a church started by the Underhill Baptist Church in Blackville. On the dedication, the sermon was preached by Rev. C. P. Wilson and Rev. A. K. Dunlop.
This church thrived for many years until the Pentecostal Church was established in the area and many in the Baptist community joined the new church. The Baptist church closed about 1940.
The Pentecostal church began to use the former Baptist Church in 1941 and in 1948 they purchased the building.
A new Pentecostal church was built in 1981 and and the former Baptist Church then became the Pentecostal Youth Center. The building was later torn down.
