The opening of Grace Christian Fellowship church was announced in 1991. The first services were held at Carrefour Beausoleil , Beaverbrook Road, Miramichi, on Sept. 1 of that year. In 1992 the congregation began meeting in the Masonic Hall on Prince William St.(now Newcastle Blvd.). In 1993 a new church was built on Beaverbrook Road and officially opened in Nov.<br /> <br /> Rev. Jon Stewart of the Blackville Fellowship Center was asked to pastor the Grace Christian Fellowship. He agreed and later brought together this church and the Christian Jubilee Center (housed at the former St. Mary’s Convent, King George Highway, Miramichi) to form the River of Life Assembly in 2007. This church is at 345 Beaverbrook Road, in the church of the original Grace Christian Fellowship.
